Cassava Chips

The cassava root is a long and tapered yam homogeneous to the other yam. The edible yam is coverd with a rough and brown outer cover. Commercial varieties can be 5 to 10 cm long. Within the yam is a thin cord the edible flesh is chalk-white or yellowish in color.

Cassava roots are very rich in starch, and contain significant amounts of calcium (50mg/100g), phosphorus (40mg/100g) and vitamin C (25mg/100g) with a fair amount of protein and other nutrients. Our climetical conditions and soil is ideal for the growth of Cassava. This is healthy and testy product and very famous in SriLanka.
